BALETTAN

The shooting of the Mohanlal's film Balettan is progressing in Ottapalam and its nearby areas.

A kalyana mandapam in the Ottapalam town.Now this is a bank.The service co-operative bank where Balettan works.Director V.M.Vinu is taking the shots of conversation between bank maneger Pisharedi and Balettan.

The role of bank manager is done by Pisharedi and Balettan is done by Mohanlal.The conversation between them is based on the loan taken from the bank by Balettan who is an accountant.
The lies and all said by Balettan to make a hold before the manager at any rate is safe in the hands of actor Mohanlal.This will make us think about the earlier films of Mohanlal.

This film has the importance that Harisree Ashokan is acting with Mohanlal for the first time.Devayani is the heroine of the film who had got the role of Radhika, wife of Balettan.

Nedumudi Venu does the role of Sankaramenon the father of Balettan,Sudeesh does the role of his brother,Innocent does the role of friend of Sankaramenon - Achumama and Harisree Ashokan does the role of Balettan's right hand Manikandan.

The director is V.M Vinu who came to the cinema through the film named Swarnakireedom.The Balettan has the pecularity that this is the 50th film of producer M.Mani.A new script writer too is introduced through the film Balettan.T.A Shahid who is the brother of T.A Razack famous script writer is the script writer of Balettan.

KANNINUM KANNADIKKUM

Teashop Pushkaran is commonly known as Bhopal Pushkaran.Pushkaran was in Bhopal.He had returned to his native land after Bhopal massacre.Now in his native land he make his living from teashop and cycle workshop.

One day there was a board in front of the shop stating that shop is closed .Pushkaran,his Bhopal wife and children are standing outside the shop.Pushkaran was wearing an old fashioned coat and bellbottom pants.A big but common cooling glass is placed in the face.Wife was wearing a modern salvar kammez.Children is also in modern dress.When the bufoon dress of Pushkaran came noticed to wife and children,the compared it with that to film actors.Hearing this Pushakaran started shouting.

This scene comes from KAnninum kannadium directed by Sunderdas under the banner of Karthika Kalaksetra.Jagathi Sreekumar is doing the role of Pushkaran.Pushkaran is a good role that will prove the commedian actor ability of Jagathi Sreekumar.Seema G Nair is doing the role of Priya,the wife.

The hero role is done by Kalabhavan Mani and Aswathi is the heroine.Siddique,Sudeesh,Irshad,Oduvil Uniikrishanan,M.R.Gopakumar,Bindhu Paniker,Janardhanan,Sona nair,Indrans,Kottayam Saradha,Sreekala etc are starring in the film.This film have the importance that Director Rajasenan and Tamil film actor Prebhu are starring in the film.
